Legionnaires,

We are more than proud to announce that from now on we are officially endorsed by LOXX® strap locks from Germany.

The LOXX® closure system is the ideal strap lock! Whether for electric or acoustic guitars and basses, the various LOXX® music boxes always keep your instrument properly secured.

The height is ideally adjusted, the strap lock won’t get in your way while playing. Thanks to the design, there is no interference even during wild movements because the strap lock guarantees the mobility of the strap.

Most of all, the attachment is very easy! The ball head screw is screwed into the guitar, the top part is attached to your guitar strap.

Legionnaires,

After long periods of recordings that lasted almost fifteen months, with Covid-19 preventing us from finishing the album earlier, we are more than happy to announce that recordings for album No#2 have officially finished.

Michalis Rinakakis & producer Fotis Benardo

Yesterday , the Legionnaires Gang Ensemble – presented by The Silent Rage members Nikos Siglidis, Michalis Rinakakis, Stamatis Katsafados as well as Steve Venardo (Voidnaut, ex-The Silent Rage), Vangelis Rigas & George Nerantzis – gathered at the Devasoundz Studios to record the final gang vocals. The outcome was really massive.

The mixing of the album will be handled by Fotis Benardo (SepticFlesh, Nightfall, InnerWish) and will start in mid/late November. George Nerantzis (Pain Of Salvation, Abbath, Gus G) will handle the mastering afterwards.

More news on the way. Stay tuned!

Michalis Rinakakis is here in Athens to make some noise for the upcoming album. Legionnaires, stay tuned!

Legionnaires,

We would like to inform you that Power Metal Quest Fest has been postponed to Saturday 1st October 2022. Below you can read the official statement issued by the festival promoters.

“We don’t need to remind you all how tough it’s been for live music over the past two years and we have been enjoying seeing live music return in the form of open air festivals and smaller venues”.

“As the live scene has been opening up, we’ve been following closely and monitoring guidance from the government. Unfortunately, despite many shows going ahead, we’ve made the decision to postpone Power Metal Quest Fest to 2022“.

“There are a number of factors that have led us to reach this decision. Although the coronavirus has been a contribution to this, the biggest issue we have faced is Brexit. Travel restrictions and quarantine are still in place for many countries. And with numerous international bands on our bill we have to consider the additional costs and delays that Visa’s and carnets bring”.

“Although we could have gone ahead with our planned event, we’d have had to make significant changes to the line-up as well as operating at reduced capacity to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our artists, crew and you the fans”.

“With this, Quest Fest will now take place on Saturday 1st October 2022 and will remain at The Asylum. Those that have already purchased tickets will have theirs automatically rolled over to the new date. Anyone who has purchased a ticket and t-shirt bundle will receive a t-shirt for the new event that can be collected on the day of the show”.

“We hope that you will continue to help support our independent festival by rolling your ticket over, however refunds will be available on request.
Despite the postponement, we are already planning a special virtual event for you that will include a live Q&A where you will have the opportunity to hang out with us online, ask any questions about the festival and join our community”.

“We are an independent, not for profit festival with no external backing, so as always we thank you more than ever for your continued support. We hope you’ll continue to keep sharing our posts and spreading the word of our metal community. We can’t wait to return in 2022“.

See you then!

Legionnaires,

We are more happy to announce that George Haniotakis is officially an endorsed artist for Tribe Guitars from Switzerland.

George comments: “I am really proud that from now on I will be part of Tribe Guitars from Switzerland. I would like to thank Davide Garbujo for giving me the chance and for the warm welcome right from the start. From now on I’ll be performimg with my new spectacular SF5 bass. From the very first time I gazed upon it, I knew that it was the one. It’s a very versatile and amazing instrument, with many sound options and it’ll definitely give The Silent Rage‘s sound the extra punch that will take it to the next level. For more details free free to click here and read more about it”.

Legionnaires,

“The Deadliest Scourge” marks today five years since the day it has been released. Which remains your favorite song?
Let us know!

Legionnaires,

Those of you who have joined our legion from the very first day you will might remember that this day, exactly ten years ago, the band had the honour to share the stage with Rage & Grave Digger, here in Athens, Greece. The exact same day we had released our second demo, “Harvester Of Souls”.

We decided to re-record the self titled song as a non-album track, giving it a fresh touch to the song, in the way the band performs nowadays.

The track has been recorded at our own Nomad Studios with Nikos Siglidis doing the engineering. Michalis Rinakakis is going to record his parts at his home studio in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Soon we will reveal also the cover art for this release. Stay tuned!

Legionnaires Onwards!
